We’ve seen some wacky wedding photos recently including these Blade Runner-inspired engagement photos, but we’re not sure about a new “trend” that seems a tad too, ahem, revealing.
College Humor shared a series of provocative photos yesterday showing bridesmaids pulling back their dresses to expose their butt cheek(s) to the camera.
Lest you think this is just College Humor’s idea of a joke, the trend has also popped up on more reputable sites like Glamour and The Knot. And it’s not just bridesmaids exposing themselves. Check out these groomsmen getting into the act with some custom-made boxer briefs.
The provenance of these cheeky photos is hard to determine since they’ve come through Reddit, Imgur, and Pinterest, which do not give credit or links to the photographers. (We’ve searched but couldn’t verify who shot these risqué wedding photos.)
What do our readers think about this trend? Have any of your wedding clients asked for this? Would it be something you’d consider offering? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

When Shirin Rajaee’s brother Sean suprised his bride with a choreographed groom & groomsmen dance at his wedding June 21, 2014 the crowd went crazy.
The dance started off with a Beyonce song followed by the bride, Ariana’s favorite boy band The Backstreet Boys and ended with the Bruno Mars song “Marry You.” The group even included a fun Persian dance number.
We have never been so excited to share an engagement photo shoot as I am with this one.
Ten years ago we fell in love with the struggling yet passionate Noah Calhoun, all the while he was smitten over the seventeen-year-old heiress Allie Hamilton. Few chick flicks can stand the test of time. The Notebook, however, is in a league of it’s own.
To create a unique, non-traditional engagement shoot, the couple along with their photographer decided to re-create their magical love story inspired by one we’ve all fallen in love with. Engagement / Photographed by Chelsea Gray & Roberto Ugarte / Chertsey, Qc. / Friday, July 23rd 2010
“Cindy and Jean-Nicola are going to have quite the traditional wedding this September so I asked them if they’d like to go a little crazy on their engagement shoot. I sent Cindy a few links to the most amazing engagement shoots that have been blogged about recently (one included a take on the movie UP) and she emailed me back that she’d like to head to Jean-Nicola’s cottage in Chertsey Quebec and re-create scenes from their favourite movie “The Notebook”… She promised he’d even grow his beard out and everything! Well, how could I resist? I just had to rent the movie first- apparently I’m “the last woman in the world who hasn’t seen the movie” according to the kid at the rental store. A few things to note: Doesn’t Cindy look exactly like Rachel McAdams? It’s crazy! Plus, if you notice carefully, Jean-Nic doesn’t sport the promised beard (we had to reschedule the shoot to a later date due to thunderstorms and by then, the beard had grown quite long and he had to shave it! I’m so in love with this shoot.” For more, visit The Blushing Bride Studio
