Married November 19, 2011
While enjoying a sushi dinner date at Modesto Sushi Garden, Stephanie & Louie witnessed a proposal at a table across from them. Afterwards, Stephanie made it clear that Louie better not propose if she was dressed like the new bride-to-be next to her-right after a work out and still in gym clothes. With their love for a great obnoxious story, Louie did just that.
On a dinner date to Sushi Garden in Turlock, Louie was so excited to propose that he only got as far as the parking lot before asking Stephanie to marry him..in her workout clothes..and after much convincing that it was not a joke, she said yes.
During the next six months, with the help of her mom, maid of honor, and future sister-in-law, the planning process went effortlessly. Reinforcements were definitely needed as the final head count for their wedding was around 650 guests. Four days after getting engaged, the girls flew to New York City to fulfill Stephanie’s dream of buying her dress there and with many of their chosen vendors already as family friends, everything came together quickly.
On November 19th, 2011, their photographer, Stephanie Baker, cautioned Stephanie that Louie was very emotional, She didn’t believe it. But as she started to walk down the aisle and saw him crying, she was overwhelmed with love and joy. Apart from that unforgettable moment, the bride and groom enjoyed every minute of connecting to all guests that made their day memorable.
As they jetted off to France, Italy, and St Lucia for their honeymoon, they couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the love and support of all who came out to celebrate alongside them.
