Hazel and Alan’s ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Church in Modesto, California, and the reception followed at The Century in Downtown Modesto. As soon as Hazel saw the venue, she knew that it would match the theme that she had in mind: Rustic Romance.
Putting her own flair on the theme, Hazel included succulents into her bouquet of ivory and pink roses and hydrangeas as well as in the men’s boutonnières. Her bridesmaids were dressed in sea foam green chiffon, which offset the bride’s stunning wedding gown: a tulle ballgown with a slight cap sleeve, beaded illusion back and a gorgeous cathedral-length veil.
At the reception, the room was decorated with tall, gold candelabras with ivory hydrangeas and pink roses. The couple was thrilled with their beautiful ceremony and reception and knew that because they had kept faith in one another and in God, they were truly blessed.
